We have two exciting construction teams planned for later this year – could you be a part of them?
Haiti 3rd – 12th Dec 2010
When the first earthquake struck in January over a quarter of a million lives were lost in a matter of minutes. Working through our Field Coordinators on the ground we are responding to this tragedy with a measured and long term approach; always responding to the real needs of the local people.
The biggest need for Haiti at the moment is for teams to visit for 9-10 days and help with some of the physical rebuilding of homes, churches and schools. If you have practical skills and would like to demonstrate God’s love in this way then please get in touch.
South Africa 1st – 12th Nov 2010
In the Valley of a Thousand hills, a very poor area of Kwa Zulu Natal, John and Cathy Potter our Field Coordinators based in Durban, have helped establish a pre-school for children who normally would receive no education at all.
Teaching is currently provided in a church but they would benefit from a place of their own to develop their ministry and help even more children.
The land has been given by the local chief and funds for materials are being raised. Now all we need is you to go and help build to change the course of these young lives.
