Who Keeps it All Going?

rob

Rob Carter, Director

I joined the board of MVGB as a trustee in 2000 and became director two years later. My role is to oversee all aspects of the ministry including the office, fundraising, links with churches and relationships with our field staff and the indigenous leaders that we work with. I have been married to Erika for over 30 years and we have a daughter Kristy, married to Ben, and a teenage son Paul. I am passionate about the gospel and I feel privileged to be involved in this ministry.

matthew

Matthew Laver, Media Coordinator

I started at MVGB in Feb '06 and don't really know how it all happened! I have an English degree and have had many 'interesting' jobs since - this being the most exciting. I have a wife and a new baby to keep me occupied and busy (respectively). At the office I cover everything to do with media including the website, publications, presentations and all of the IT and network admin.

I love this job and I know that this is where God wants me to be.

cris

Cris Trueman, Administrator

I started at MVGB early 2008 having known Rob and about Missionary Ventures work for some time. I am married to Adele and have two teenage children, Sophie and Alistair. I have a varied background in Freight, Manufacturing Plant Relocation, specialised vehicle sales and more recently in Admin both for our Church and now also at MV. I enjoy working for God and I am here on the administration side to assist and support in whatever is needed to help the office and team trips run more effectively.

I love to see and hear all the great feedback from the team trips and long for the day when Matthew makes everyone a brew!

michael

Michael Priestley, Finance Coordinator

I have been helping as part-time bookkeeper at MVGB since December 2007. I am a Chartered Accountant and since retiring in 2002 have been involved with the Healing Rooms team at Halifax, Yorkshire and have seen many incredible miracles. I visited the Punjab in India in 2006 where I also witnessed Jesus continuing to heal the sick. I have been married to Lynne since 1975 and have 2 grown up sons.
